The World Book Fair is Back and China is the Guest of Honour

The information in this post might be outdated

Asia’s biggest book fair is back and is in its 41st edition, organised by National Book Trust of India. The theme this year is Cultural Heritage of India, so you can look forward to an exhibition of multifarious languages and books from long, long ago.

It starts on January 9, and Pragati Maidan is once again going to be a swamped with fiction, non-fiction, exam preparatory books {now even e-books} and of course, people.

The list of foreign participants has us totally floored. From Saudi Arabia and Iran, to German Book Office, Polish Book Institute and General Egyptian Book Organisation, everyone seems to be coming. You can check out the complete list here.

Apart from Pakistan, Nepal and USA, this time we also have China as the guest of honour. That means you can get your hands on some pretty fantastic books, attend interesting seminars and get to see cool Chinese paintings.

We can't wait!
