Aromatic, full-bodied coffee, with rich flavours coupled with notes of berry, honey, almond cinnamon and more that you can choose from. Coffee lovers already know what we’re talking about. Yes, Blue Tokai has two outlets in Goa, and we could not be more excited!

What Makes It Awesome

If just Blue Tokai being available in Goa was not enough reason to celebrate, here’s more — there’s not one but two outlets of Blue Tokai that are now functional — one in panjim, and the other in our very own Assagao!

After cafes across Delhi & Mumbai, they have finally got their first café in Goa at Panjim, that too in the backyard of the OMO Boutique. Located in the picturesque Latin Quarter of Fontainhas with art on walls, colourful houses and narrow lanes that are a pleasure to walk through, this place is fabulous. With a cool air-conditioned café for those hot days, and small al fresco area in a cozy little courtyard, this one is perfect to spend that afternoon catching up with friends over a cuppa.

The other outlet is housed inside The Project Cafe, a restaurant and design consortium which in itself is worth the visit. So you can now get your perfect blend and sit in their garden under those dreamy fairy lights, slowly sipping your coffee, taking in the beautiful Assagao evenings!

Tokai meaning a peacock (in Malabari) is what inspired this company's name. After all Kerala does have some of the most amazing coffee plantations. And Blue Tokai ensures that all their coffee beans' stocks are sourced directly from the plantations and then roasted in-house so they have full control of their quality at all times.

They even plan to have some coffee tasting and other exciting workshops soon. Expect some great blends from various estates across the country. Be it their Bibi Palantation’s AAA or from Thogrihunkal Estate coffee, both of which are available in a medium roast for all of you that like their coffees sweet and balanced espressos. Or then the Nachammai Estate coffee which is a light roast and perfect for when you want to have a filter coffee or maybe a cold coffee. Though our favourite has to be the Kalladeverapura Estate, that comes accompanied with noted of almond, honey and raisins.

You are sure to find a coffee that suits your taste and you know it is a quality product. Plus their Oatmeal cookies are a perfect accompaniment with that cup of coffee.

Pro-Tip

You can even buy their coffee packets or just take their membership to ensure that you are never out of your favourite brew. And, in case, you're interested in what the Assagao counterpart is up to, their events are updated regularly on their social media, so hop over the next time they have a gig, a workshop, an exhibition or a screening.
