Watson’s is that pub next door where everybody may not know your name, but it feels like home. This is the ideal spot for those in Goa with a big group of friends, and it’s where you’re likely to find all the young guns hanging out in the evening.

Watson’s is average at best when it comes to food, so manage expectations on that front. Stick to your bar foods of choice, order a pizza, and get ready to drink up!

They’ve got a big bar, great beer on tap and music to keep you tapping your toes. It really is all about the vibe at this gastro pub, and every time I’ve been to Watsons it hasn’t disappointed on that front.

It gets crowded pretty quickly; I’d recommend getting there in time to get a table. Also, expect the service to slow down considerably as the night descends.
