Age No Bar: On Your Next Goan Vacay, Learn Skateboarding From This Community

If you or your kids want to learn skateboarding, maybe enhance your skills or just meet fellow skateboarders in Goa, then this community should definitely be on your radar.

Started four years ago by three friends Vaibhav, Anveer & Samuel who shared the same passion for skateboarding, this community has been steadily growing over the years. These guys are all about supporting, increasing and enjoying the sport of skateboarding in Goa. With no official qualifications {as there are none}, these guys have managed to teach themselves and others to skateboard. They take regular classes for everyone above the age of six.

With two sessions every week costing approximately INR 2,000 per month, this is a steal deal to learn a cool new sport. And they will even provide you with boards, safety pads, etc. if you are a beginner. Since this is mostly a self taught sport, once they teach you the basics, you pretty much become a part of the community and you get a chance to pass it on to others whilst keeping active within the group and enhancing your own skills.

They have even built their own skating park at their hostel in Miramar in Panjim, so if you are ready to take it to the next level, this is the place to do it at. And they do focus on safety, too, so no student is allowed to skate without the required safety gear such as helmets, pads, etc. Of course like any sport, expect to fall and learn, but without having any major injuries.
