If you, like us, love being surrounded by beautiful art, and good food, then this 'Dine At The Museum' event is for you. A talk on Goa's food history, a scrumptious spread and cocktails are all on offer at this beautiful contemporary art museum, popularly known as MOG or The Museum of Goa. The event is slated to happen on Oct 27 (Saturday).
It's a fact still unknown to many that a lot of food that we eat today has ingredients that came from far off lands and most exchange happened via Goa. This and more is up for discussion with Subodh Kerkar, the museum's founder and director, who is an incredible keeper of historical information about Goa.
Following the talk, you can enjoy a sit-down dinner curated by chefs Lavanya and Shivam of MOG Art Cafe. In keeping with the theme, you'll sample dishes made from ingredients that were brought from far off lands. And did we mention that there will be cocktails too?
Still need more convincing? Well, you'll be in the company of beautiful artworks and hopefully striking interesting conversations with a bunch of like-minded people.
