Yoga classes, a tattoo studio, a café and comfortable beds are just a few of the many reasons we love 604 Vagator, Goa’s newest boutique guesthouse.

Simply called 604 Vagator, this guesthouse is operated by a couple of youngsters, all of whom are loaded with  tons of talent, so one is a singer/songwriter, the other a tattoo artist-cum-singer. Impromptu jam sessions are a regular ‘scene’ here, and it’s one of the main reasons we love the vibe at this place.

The best part, though, is that the guesthouse is walking distance from all the fun party spots in Vagator and the beach. Interestingly, the owners also plan to keep bicycles on rent over here.

So the rooms here are basic, but clean, air-conditioned and come with attached toilets. Some of them even have a small kitchen area, but as of now they don’t have any cooking appliances. Each room has a small verandah with a swinging rope chair so you can sit back and enjoy one of the many live gigs they plan to do all season.

A small café and restaurant will also be functional soon. The beautiful green lawn at the property is perfect for those who’d like to sit out and catch a good read, or enjoy the live music while lazing around on the grass {we did this on the opening night here}.

There is a tattoo studio being set up in here, and they even have some yoga workshops planned for as low as INR 500 per session. If you’re planning to stay here, it will cost you INR 2,500 per night, and we think it’s a steal for the kind of property it is and the happy, lovely service they offer. More importantly, the location of the guesthouse is a real winner, given everything you’d like to do is a walk away. More importantly, the guesthouse is in a quiet spot, which means there’s no traffic around you {so party all you like and walk back to a peaceful room}.
