This Morjim Bar Is Giving Free Coffee & Pizza If You Donate Books

What's Happening

The Place in Morjim has a sweet offer for bookworms and foodies. In an attempt to build their library, they’re asking people to donate books in exchange for a free cup of coffee or a pizza. Here’s the deal: One book gets you tea/coffee, two get you a Margherita pizza and five books get you a pizza of your choice. For the record, it’s run by an Italian guy, so they take their pizzas very very seriously.

Even though the offer is valid till the end of October, they might decide to end it prematurely if they manage filling up all their shelves (which is already happening, we’re warned). So, you should already be gathering those amazing paperbacks to fill up the boot.

How's The Venue

The Place is a cosy Italian restaurant that prides itself on its pizza, coffee and handcrafted cocktails. Oh, and for some reason, they claim to make real good sushi too. And, they're open every day from 11am to 11pm. Yay!

Make A Note

We’re told that they fire up their wood fired oven towards the evening, so, if you’re lugging your books for pizza, call and check beforehand to make sure you aren’t disappointed.
