Unless you have been living under a rock, everyone who has visited Goa has been to Zeebop By The Sea in Uttorda at least once. With their new outpost at the Mandrem Village Resort (that too right on the beach), you can now save yourself a two-hour drive to the South and continue enjoying their yummy food.

What Makes It Awesome?

A lovely wooden deck overlooking the ocean, the restaurant has a permanent thatched roof and cute lanterns that enhance its charm. While you're waiting for your food, grab some beers and walk across their cute wooden bridge to dip your toes into the sea. Chef Sai and his band of merry staff will ensure that a visit here is memorable. Fun fact: Mumbai folks who were regulars at Revival in Churchgate have definitely eaten his yummy khowsuey & other Pan Asian food. We highly recommend their tandoori prawns as well as a mixture of their Awadhi-style Kebabs. Then came the lovely rawa fried fish which was delightful and crispy. However, it was their Biryani that had us drooling. Made in the traditional style in an earthen pot, the meat just fell off the bones. With the stars flickering away in the distance, there is nothing better than a glass of whiskey or wine to go with the food. PS: They serve Pan Asian food too.

What Could Be Better?

The food was all spot on, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Their desserts could, however, improve. But considering these guys have just opened and the owners seem really responsive to constructive feedback, we don't think that is going to remain the case for too long.

Pro-Tip

They are open for breakfast too, so fluffy omelettes with other goodies are guaranteed. Also, you can visit the place all year round.
