Let’s Talk About The Birds And The Bees At CHULL

A bold new resto-bar in Sector 29, Gurgaon, Chull serves food and drinks in a rather racy setting, and is equal parts naughty and nice.

The first things that arrests you in handcuffs at CHULL is a very kitsch meets quirky vibe- get ready to lounge on luscious lip-shaped couches, ogle at a wall decorated with steamy M&B’s or just sit back and check out the various naughty neon signs.

The place is certainly designed to be a conversation starter, and a cheeky strand runs through the décor narrative, including the washrooms {but we aren’t going to kiss and tell you about that, just yet}.

This steamy setting is sure to work up an appetite – which gets amply satiated here. We totally loved the street food section- both the Ande Se Libade Toast and the Thele Ki Geeli Maggi were delish and were polished off before we could heave a deep sigh.

The Foreplay {yes!} section offered us a few orgasms too, the most notable one being for the mutton pepper dry, which was laced with curry leaves and whole black peppers.

The other number that threw us in a fit of unexpected frenzy was the Corn and Spinach Burger- which came totally doe-eyed with chunky French fries.

The titillation continues in the drinks as well, and brace for a section of very Indian-inspired cocktails called Desi Chull- from which our favourite was Chumbak- which had notes of cumin, mint and khus.

We sampled an Amritsari style fried fish which was just OK- it could have done with a bit more bite and a more pronounced flavour of carom as well.

CHULL plans to tackle the taboo around sex head on- so intends to host events, performances and special gigs to get us a lot comfier around this subject, and embrace it with all its diversities.
