Vatsala posted on 18th July

What Is It?

A passionate photographer, as well as the owner & curator of Museo in Gurgaon, Aditya Arya invites you on a tour of his vintage camera collection. While taking you through the history of cameras and the evolution of photography, the entire session is interspersed with his own stories and experiences as well.

Who Is It For?

For any photography enthusiasts who love cameras, and anyone else who might be interested {the event is open to anyone above 18 years of age}.

Why Should I Go For It?

Aditya Arya is a professional photographer with a collection of more than 1,500 cameras and a camera museum right in his basement. Having been a photographer for 30 years, Aditya is known in various sectors for documenting different cultures, places, celebrities, and cities and has been published widely in travel magazines. There’s very few people, better suited than him, to take you through the fascinating history of cameras.

After chai and cookies, the eminent photographer ends the two-and-a-half-hour session with showing you how a salt print {a technique from the 1850s!} is created. As a bonus, you get to take a picture home with you!

Anything Else?

You must send him a picture of your own, more than 3 days in advance which he will salt print and give to you at the end of the tour.

When: 22, 23 & 30 Jul {you can choose a day, as per your convenience}

Price: INR 3,000 per person.

You can book a tour on Airbnb here.
