What Makes It Awesome

I have been seeing a lot of people sharing their Ramdan Food Walk experience, exploring known places in and around Night Bazaar near Charminar. Most of them are inclined towards a set of pattern of places that we know and visited at some point in time.

Here comes the food blogger and my fellow blogger friend, "Rameez Siddique" (@TheHydFoodBlog), who had the perfect plan and invited me with few other food enthusiasts to go on a food drive to unknown places of beautiful old city where we get a chance to know what Hyderabadi Zaiqa is all about. Following his path on covering all the authentic places of Hyderabadi cuisine via route map he created, started from Mir Alam Mandi to Mozamjahi Market. Here's the itinerary of the drive:

Burhanpur Ki Khowa Jalebi, Kesar Badam Milk @Mir Alam Mandi
Bun Maksa @Ali Cafe at Dabeerpura
Pani Puri @Altaf Chat Bhandar at Dabeerpura
Special Lassi @Agra Sweets at Gulzar Houz
Chicken Tikka + Paratha, Mutton Seekh Kebab + Paratha @Shehraan
Kesar Chai @Hotel Nayab
Mutton Haleem, Malai Kebab @Hotel Shadab
Malai Paya @Miskeen Hotel
Jauzi ka Halwa @Hameedi Sweets
Ice cream @Famous Icecream

So, we reached a common point to kick start our food walk at Burhanpur ki Khowa Jalebi around 06:30 PM. We wanted to capture how amazingly the Jalebis were made, and shop owner was humble enough to allow us to shoot the video. As it was nearing Iftar time, owner also made arrangements for us to break the fast at his place. We were overwhelmed with his hospitality. It was now time to taste the Jalebi, and they were awesome. Kesar Badam Milk was good as well.

Bun Maska:
Owner wasn't cooperative though, yet we managed to make a video and capture few pictures. Bun Maska was a delight to have.

Pani Puri:
You might wonder, what's so special having Pani Puri. Well! Allow me to explain, it's unique because the Puri's are big and one couldn't have it in a single Go! Owner makes the puri at his place and is well known in the area. You'd get 4 big Pani Puri for ₹10.

Special Lassi:
Most of you guys are aware about Special Lassi of Agra Sweets. They need no introduction, just one word "Wonderful!"

Shehraan:
Chicken Tikka and Mutton Sheekh Kebab were too good. My personal opinion, they are better compared to overhyped Sonu Kebabs. However, they need to work on Paratha's, too much oil.

Kesar Cha:
I'm not a Chai lover, yet made an exception to have one here. I was not disappointed at all.

Shadab:
Mutton Haleem served here is one of the best, it's taste, quantity, quality and price. You'd love it!

Malai Kebab:
Kebabs served here were good, and mayonnaise was the biggest turn off. Pathetic!

Miskeen:
Star of the night! I'd say, bestest Malai Paya anyone can have in and around Madina. No second thoughts to it! Full plate serves you 8 Paya's for ₹700 bucks and it's adequate for 6 people easily. I'd definitely recommend you guys to check this place out!

Concluding with a Thank You note to Rameez Siddique for the invite and making me relish the perfect Hyderabadi Cuisine.
