Paalaguttapalle Bags

The story of Paalaguttapalle Bags is as inspiring and beautiful as their products. The social enterprise is run by a group of women from the small village of Paalaguttapalle in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The group started hand-stitching, embroidering, and screen-printing a variety of bags after drought struck the village and agriculture slowed down. The designs are uniquely Indian, and catalogue, impressive. We found everything from buttoned-saree bags, vegetable storage bags, bottle holders, laptop holders and bags made specifically for occasions and various Indian functions. You could also get your bags customised or place bulk-orders for a variety of occasions, from conferences or for a small business.
