What Makes It Awesome?

The city of Hyderabad has seen some of the phenomenal bars well accepted by the patrons here and amongst all, Devil's Cut is a new entrant in the Jubilee Hills area. It is a new resto-bar which replaced Club Raasta, is nearby of Jubilee Hills check post signal. By its name, it's quite evident that something devilish is under the books. It is a place where you can bring the devil out in you. As you enter the place, you can see the scary interiors like a Halloween themed pub but on a cooler note. It mainly boasts with an ambience themed on Devils with some skeletons and some dark lighting. They have some ample seating space with the bar at the centre of the floor which has a really nicely done wall art making complete justice to the name.

Coming to the food & beverages, we had an amazing array of mocktails and cocktails however one such recommended drink from the list would be Blue Frog as it was nicely done with Rum, Gin, Vodka & blue curacao.

Starting off the fare with some appetizers like Mushroom rekak & French fries, the mushroom was stuffed with the cheese and then baked in a boiler to melt the cheese & crumb-fried with a dollop of mayo and some cut veggies which was good but could have been better with a bit of more seasoning.

Next up was Paneer Tikka which had a good amount of marination masala coated nicely & grilled well tasted good. Another one which I tried was Tangdi Kebab which had chicken legs coated with strong aromatic spice mix served with salad tasted nice as the marination masala had seeped into the meat quite well.

We also got some Golden fried prawns and Badami murgh tikka which were good however needs room for improvement. Next up was some Thin crust chicken pizza was good however, some improvement is needed on the cheese quality.

Unfortunately, from the mains, we got only Fried rice & Tomato curry, which was really not well prepared as it had too much Ajinomoto, improvement needed on the cooking style. Ending the meal with a brownie topped with good ice-cream.

Overall, Devil's Cut has some spooky ambience making complete justice to its name right from the start till end however, it needs to focus on its food offering to make a proper mark in the Jubilee Hills area as there are much more better pubs with great ambience & food.
