Eating everyday outside food is making me fat day-by-day,but I'm not stopping it because it keeps going on until the new outlets are stoppedππ..!! Most of the days,I keep on eating food from various cuisines like American,Mexican,italian.. but I rarely eat our state cuisine..which is so-called "Andhra cuisine".
.
So,this time I've found you guys a perfect place for typical Andhra food. You might think that, there are many places in this city which serves Andhra cuisine...but,you are absolutely wrong..!! Because, every other restaurant in Hyderabad offers a mix of rayalaseema & Andhra cuisine. Not any restaurant offers specifically Andhra food & this is what makes "Aromas of Andhra" stand aside from others.
.
The items which are offered here are not usually found in restaurants. These all items are inspired from the households of the areas like guntur, nellore & surrounding areas. I believe, the pride of the cuisine lies in the items which are cooked daily in the households, but not in the famous dishes which restaurants serve..!! But, People at "Aromas of andhra" made a research on each & every dish which belongs to Andhra cuisine & they've bought them to hyderabad to make us try those dishes..!!
.
I've been here last weekend in the afternoon to try their humungous & satiating thali's. Before going there,I didn't had much expectations for this place . The moment I entered this place, I was shocked & surprised by looking at the bahubali thali which my friends ordered even before my arrival. That was the very first time I forgot that I have to take picture of it & thought of gulping it right away..!!ππ. But,then after taking a picture I couldn't stop myself looking at the thali which had 2 starters, mirchi bhajji, poori, ragi sankati,Milo roti's , 6 curries(4 veg & 2 non-veg) ,2 types of sambhar, majjiga pulusu, curd, 2 small khullads of buttermilk, 2 biryani's,white rice & 2desserts. Sounds like a 7- day meal, right?π. Everything which was given under the thali was quite delicious & I was speechless after tasting it. Kadapa chicken biryani & mutton roast really needs a special mention which tasted amazing. Every item was scrumptious in it's own way. But, ragi muddha was a bit dry & it didn't reach the expectations which I had before even tasting it. I've had better better ragi muddha's ,this needs slight improvements.
.
The other two thali's which we tried were RAYALAVAARI THALI & SAKHAHARA THALI(which is nothing but a veg-thali). RAYALAVAARI thali has everything which bahubali thali has,but except biryani's & the quantities will also vary because, this thali can only be eaten by one person where as bahubali thali is supposed to be eaten by two people . Also,in the RAYALAVAARI thali non-veg curries may vary ,the curries which were given to us were cheppala pulusu & chicken curry which were creamy ,thick & the pieces are Soo soft& the starters won't be given under this ..!!
.
In the SAKHAHARA thali, I totally loved the veg curries which were made by freshly picked ingredients from the local market & basic ingredients which makes makes the each & every dish -the "comfort food".
.
Finally, to make my visit memorable I've tried their authentic & most loving dessert called "JUNNU". Have you heard about it?. If you had, then your life must have been awesome π. JUNNU is nothing but a milk pudding which is made out of colostrum milk taken out either from cow or buffalo. Does it matter?... absolutely no...what we all need is,the dessert to be delicious. That's it,right??
