What Makes It Awesome
From the outside, Chail Residency appears like a run-of-the-mill stay, but when you check into the rooms, you'll be pleased with the views. The rooms are priced at INR 1,100-2,000 per night (Depending on your choice) and most of the rooms on the property come with a view of the valley. If you're looking for a spacious one, the ground floor one is perfect but if a cosy room works fine, the loft room is the best. All the rooms come with a roomy balcony for you to lounge around and a living room with a dressing table, TV, couches, and tables. Super clean and sorted, the good peeps at the hotel are warm and help you with your itinerary too.
While there isn't much you can do at Chail, we recommend checking out the Chail Palace. The in-house palace restaurant makes delicious local food that you shouldn't miss.
What Could Be Better
The food is abysmal and they can do better with not just local delicacies but coffee and tea too.
