Here's another good news for metro travellers, apart from shuttles to improve the last-mile connectivity, HMRL has launched carpool services for metro users. This service will be provided by RedBus's In-app service called rPool, so you know it's reliable and works fine.
Allow us to break this down for you. If you drive yourself to work and pass by metro stations, you can register yourself on the app to offer carpooling service to commuters. To avoid congestion (which is what this carpooling service aims to do), Hyderabad Metro Rail has offered dedicated rPool pickup spaces and kiosks with executives who will assist commuters.
If you wish to carpool from the metro station, you can get on the RedBus app and find a ride toward your destination. The fares start as low as INR 2 per kilometre which is what makes it awesome, isn't it?
