What Makes It Awesome

You're probably hearing this from LBB, Hyderabad first. Punjab National Hotel in Banjara Hills is a new restaurant and it's quite a hidden gem. We're giving you three reasons to get here: Great food, great ambience...and a great everything. Tucked inside a bright red coloured bungalow, the ambience is elegant and simple; decor accents like plants and mirrors on the wall add a homely vibe to the place. As we were seated, we were offered a welcome drink — Kaanji — a fresh juice made from carrot, beetroot, and mustard seeds. For starters, we ordered Tandoori Mushroom and Sauteed Prawns. Both were those perfect melt-in-your-mouth dishes. We'd definitely go back for the mushroom.

For mains, we asked for Makki Di Roti, Sarson Da Saag, and Amritsari Kulcha. The saag lacked a bit of salt but it didn't make it any less delicious, and the kulcha was stuffed and loaded with aloo, dhaniya, and ghee. So good, we couldn't stop with one. We ended our meal with Gaajar Ka Halwa and oh boy, it was so warm and good! They also make other smashing dishes like Amritsari Machi, Chole, Butter Chicken.
