Our List Of Places To Go Shopping This Ramzan

The information in this post might be outdated

Whether you are looking for accessories or clothing, there is no better time to shop than Ramzan. We love how lit the streets of Lad Bazaar are. We're bringing you a mix of street stores and iconic stores that you can shop from. We might have not covered all the stores, but this is a list of places where you can go Ramzan shopping (We've been here too).

B Laxmi Chand Jariwala

B. Laxmichand Jariwala in Old City will quirk up all your plain blouses and dresses with their zari borders. Located in Laad Bazaar, this store houses aisles and aisles of zaris. Whether you are looking for simple lace borders or elaborate embroidered one, they've got them all. Love motifs, florals, and paisleys? Go for the embroidered borders. We're loving the medium-sized zaris with golden floral designs. The price range begins at INR 200 for nine metres.

Deccan Bangles

Tucked away inside an alley in Lad Bazaar, Deccan Bangles is easily one of the best bangle stores in that area. We love how the store has lac bangles, glass, and metal bangles. While it's mostly glass bangles, the collection is really vast — say hello to sparkles and stones while the demure and plain ones occupy a large part of the store. For those of you who don't like glass ones, go for the oxidised metal or metal bangles. These bangles are mostly chunky and can pass off for a bracelet or a kada.

Azam Famous

Whether you love bags or bangles, Azam Famous in Lad Bazaar is your store. From envelope clutches, metallic sling bags, and embroidered clutches, Azam has plenty of pretty things. Perfect to jazz up not just Indian wear, their metallic slings can be paired with denim and tank tops too. Looking for potli bags? They have a wide range of bags with faux pearl hangings and lovely embroidery starting at INR 250 only.

Kashish

Kashish is a designer fashion store which is famous in the twin cities for its ethnic and contemporary wear. From anarkalis to lehengas and sharara sets to kurtis — they have many branches in Hyderabad for you to sort your Ramzan shopping. Try on their party wear outfits. They have elegant khada dupattas to make your festival day awesome.

Nisa Boutique

Nisa Boutique in Abids is a perfect haunt for those of you who love grabbing outfits and accessories under one roof. From fancy salwar suits to heavy anarkalis and sharara sets, they've got everything glittery that are perfect for special occasions. We're loving their embellished clutches and lehengas as well. Their price range starts from INR 3,000 to INR 10,000 and upwards which is decent for the designs they have. And now that Ramzan season has begun, fill your wardrobe with these pieces.

Mohammed Ali Baig Traders

Embroidered dupattas on your mind? Located in Lad Bazaar, Mohammed Ali Baig Traders is a wholesale fabric store that also retails dupattas at budget prices. As you walk up to the store, you'll find embroidered dupattas in yellows, reds, and blues hung outside the store. From simple floral embroidery to elaborate ones with sequins, you'll find them all. If you're looking for plain fabric in cotton, chiffon, or georgette, there's plenty for you to check out.

Laad Bazaar

Strolling through Laad Bazaar, we found plenty of desi crop jackets with embroidery and mirror work. The wholesale stores lined along the market have stocked up on fancy fabrics, ikat, Kalamkari, brocades, Benaras silk, chiffon, and so much more. Plus, you'll find lots of sling bags with tassels, potli bags, elaborate dupattas and more.

Modi Pearls

Cannot think of a festival without pearls? Well, when you're in the Old City, you've got to shop for Hyderabadi pearls. With so many pearl jewellery stores dotted across the market, you can check out any store, but we recommend Modi Pearls. Located near Gulzar House Circle, this iconic store sells classic pearl jewellery and sets. The work involved in making these pieces is quite intricate and you'll notice that some of their pieces are fit for royalty.

Karishma

Although Karishma The Wedding Mall is mostly known for bridal wear, they have beautiful lehengas, shararas, and khada dupattas. They've got plenty of cocktail gowns and floor-length anarkalis. If you are looking for something super festive and don't want to spend way too much, get here.
