Had this amazing and popular dish which has been making rounds in the city from the past few days i.e "Daal Pakwan" which is a popular Sindhi breakfast dish, and was claimed to be available only on Sundays at a certain time at Sindhi colony.
Was glad to know that Kaffe Gardenia serves this dish throughout the week and as the name of the dish goes this dish a combination of Daal tempered with ghee and mild spices served along with pakwaan - which is a crispbread. The tempering on the daal was loaded with ghee and had a burst of flavours, it is usually consumed with a mixture of other chutneys like tangy imli chutney and Pudina chutney, making it an amazing dish full of flavours and perfectly balanced for your palate.
