Sraddha Extension is probably one of the oldest stationery stores of Hyderabad. Popular with the 80s and 90s kids, this store is still every kid’s bae.

What Makes It Awesome

Most of your art supplies can be found at Sraddha — Moleskine papers, charcoal pencils, oil paint colours, canvas papers, pens, and pencils. Discover notebooks of different sizes and patterns. Take your pick from the pocket-sized ones priced at INR 5 and upwards or go for a hardbound notebook at INR 250-500. Either way, if you are looking for notebooks, project and record books for schools, you’ll find plenty of them. Readers will find particular joy in the pirate bookmarks (INR 60) or bookmarks modelled after cartoon characters. Minions, anyone? Needless to mention, all kinds of highlighters, post-it notes, notepads are on offer, and you can just pick what suits your budget. Plus, they have amazing fridge magnets in shapes of cupcake, apples, boots that you can grab at INR 25 each.

Done with hoarding stationery? Then check out their gifts section. Right from gifts for kiddies to showpieces and home decor accents for adults, you’ll find plenty of items that suit your taste. We found vintage cars {perfect for gardens} at INR 1,200 each and showpieces of Laughing Budha, Budha, couples, kids frolicking around in parks, and more too. The best part is that the store carefully curates its showpieces so you won’t find the run-of-the-mill stuff here. Kids can run wild in the section of soft toys, action figures along with quirky school bags, pencil cases. A number of board games and an interesting stock of books can be found too.

What Could Be Better

While they have a jewellery section, we'd like it they offered more varieties.
