After a brief break where we nibbled on chocolate chip cookies made in-house, it was time to sip on the Rosemary Lavender Sea Salt Mocha, which was faintly sweet and lightly salty at the rims of the cup. The salt and herbs made for an interesting combination when paired with a hint of caramel. The La Vie En Rose, with rosewater, cardamom and honey, is a little more traditional when compared with the ones we tasted before.
While not as impressive or innovative as the Cold Brew or the Rosemary Lavender Sea Salt coffee, this is mostly your regular cappuccino with rose petals sprinkled on top, adding a subtle fragrance. We could say we saved the best for the last — The Mocha Praline Shake- milk with hazelnut chocolate topped with whipped cream is almost a dessert in a glass. While decadent, none of the flavours overwhelm us, which we think is what makes this drink a winner.
