What Makes It Awesome

Aiming at almost zero wastage, Tinted Hands Collective is a Hyderabad-based store that uses upcycled textiles, scrap to craft clothing and accessories. Swetcha Poladi is a Youth For India Fellow where she specialised in rural development and later, moved to Auroville to learn the art of natural dyeing, document dye-yielding plants. On moving back to Hyderabad, she floated Tinted Hands Collective with an intent to produce ethical textile crafts. Rarely letting any textile go to waste, this brand's products are dyed and stitched in-house and are handwoven.

While browsing through their category of products, we could see plenty of block-printed designs, knotted dresses, kurtas, and jackets. Since the brand targets at comfortable and sustainable fashion, you'll notice how breezy the clothing is and the colours are simple pastels.

Big on stationery? You've got to check out the diaries and notebooks that Tinted Hands creates. Their entire product range is between INR 150 and INR 2,500. This brand also composts all its solid dye waste and uses it in their terrace garden. Now, how cool is that!
