Indie Comix Fest is hosting its first edition in Kolkata, with an aim to bring together readers and artists, and promote comics as a genuine form of popular culture. These fests have been hosted in Delhi, Mumbai etc before. You can go in here as an artist and share (and sell) your art with the world, or as a reader to experience (and buy) any work that speaks to you. They encourage originality and urge you to bring in only original, self-published works. Your comic can be in any language and in any form of print.
Participants need to fill out a registration form to show and sell their work. they have a well laid out list of rules over at their website, which you might want to check out before registering yourself in.
