I was eyeing Millies Kolkata for quite some time since they had set foot in Kolkata a couple of months before lockdown - currently, they are operating from their Salt lake outlet (only delivery/takeaway). This is a reputed international brand which started in London way back in 1985 and set foot in India last year itself, currently present in quite a few Indian cities along with many European and Middle Eastern countries.
Being a chocoholic that I am - I chose Belgian Milk Chocolate coverture cake, it was unadulterated #.chocogasm to the last bite
Also tried one of their unique creation - Double Chocolate Giant Cookie, the largest cookie that I have encountered till date. Looks rugged from outside but it's gooey and soft from inside, every bite melts in your tastebuds leaving you with intense chocolate after taste.
Of course, how could I miss out on macaroons - tried Strawberry, White Chocolate, Coffee and Caramel. Absolutely soft and delicious to the core.
They claim to make neapolitan pizzas and thick shakes as well - will try those for sure during my next visit.
Pricing is certainly on the higher end of the spectrum but it's absolutely worthwhile considering the quality of the products they are selling. Most raw materials are being imported from the United Kingdom and that's evident from the major difference in taste. The best part what I liked was the freshness of their products. They baked all the above products right from scratch for me within barely an hour.
