Channel Your Inner Artist: Sign Up For These Art Workshops

Chucked out your New Year’s resolutions? Start over and learn some mad skills. Beginning this week, several venues are hosting fun art workshops where you can pick up skills and ideas.

Impasto With Van Gogh

What can be a better day than the birth anniversary of Impressionist master Vincent Van Gogh to pick up the brush and learn some tricks about painting like him? Only in this case you will pick up the spatula instead of the brush. Much like Van Gogh’s impressionist art, impasto {with a spatula} technique lends a 3D texture to your art and allows a better interplay of light and shadow.

So, head out on Friday, March 30 to The Art Room. Prior experience is not needed. Get more info here.
