What Makes It Awesome

Daydreaming about strolling through the streets of Japan, feasting on Yakitoris and fizzy Ramune? Wake up and take a drive to Salt Lake (sector V) where the newly-opened Asia! Asia! Asia! - Street BBQ and Buffet will transport you to the vibrant streets of Asia.

Asia! Asia! Asia!, is the newest kid on the block offering pan-Asian cuisine in the city. This one is extra special though because it brings to you the colours, culture, jazziness and flavours of Asian streets. Like a mini tour of all things popular in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Before I dive straight into what you can put on your plate, allow me to revel a little in the neon-lit interiors. If you’re rubbing your hands in glee thinking about quirky graffiti and K-pop themed posters, keep up the excitement because this place is dripping with Asian street culture.

At the centre of it all is the Robatayaki, a traditional japanese hot charcoal grill, where the BBQ skewers are half-cooked and transferred to the on-table grill for further grilling. The buffet covers rustic curries, various stir fries, Asian salads, soups and a live noodle counter. Even the drink that comes complimentary with the buffet is one that was introduced in Japan in 1876. While the fizzy drink is made in-house to taste like the traditional Japanese carbonated drink, the bottle in which it is served has been imported from Japan. Our picks? Neon Dim sums, Tori Tsukune Teriyaki, Robata Claypot Rice, and South-East Asian Rustic Curries like - Bangkok Street Chicken Kra Pao, Chiang Mai Style Green Curry, Sliced Fish in Black Pepper Sauce, to name a few.

No Asian meal is complete without treating your sweet tooth to their not-so-sweet desserts. They have Doriyaki Japanese Pancakes, y’all! What more can you ask for, but wait, there’s more! Binge on the colourful (and slightly chewy) Mochi ice cream, that comes a variety of exotic flavours from matcha to lemongrass.
