Calling All Crows And Khaleesis! Watch The Final Season Of GoT On A Large Screen At These Places

The information in this post might be outdated

Nearly 22 months since we saw the finale episode of the penultimate season of Game of Thrones. That's enough time to binge watch the entire series on loop about 212 times without sleeping! Going by the depth of analysis, speculation and fan theories doing the rounds, it's easy to imagine that some of us may have watched the series that much. Come 14th of April (premieres in India on 15th of April) and the wait will finally be over. We suggest you don’t settle for watching the beginning of the ultimate war for the iron throne on a TV screen at home. Instead gather your squad and head to these places in the city to watch the magnificence unfold on a bigger screen.

Five Mad Men

Did you know that GoT costumes and war equipment were sourced from Noida, India? This and more trivia like this was thrown around at Game of Trivia nights hosted by Five Mad Men (Salt Lake). A sprawling space with a humongous 200 sq.ft screen will be abuzz with popular fan theories, trivia, quizzes with on spot gifts and what not followed by a special screening on the 15th, as Season 8 premieres. GoT fans, don’t miss it for the world! For bookings, call 09830157498.

Brewhive

The night may be dark and full of terrors but when you get to watch Daenerys Targaryen ride her dragons to glory on a large screen along with piping hot churros topped with caramel sauce, it’s hella good! Brewhive will be hosting a special screening of your favourite show on the 15th of April. The only trouble you might have would be in deciding which one to drool over - Jon Snow on the screen or BBQ Pork Ribs on your plate!  For bookings, call 06292121484.

Chakra

Hold the door! Hodor. Claiming to be the first private theatre in the city, Chakra is all set to bring your favourite binge-worthy series on the big screen starting with GoT from the 14th of April at 6.30 am (followed by Sacred Games). With an end to end screen (12 feet by 8 feet) approximately the size of a 180 inch TV, the theatre is made up in a room with a large bed (filled with plush cushions) where you and your gang can #ChillLikeAVillian (or like Tyrian Lannister). Although they do not have any snacks arrangement there yet (WIP), you can either get your food fix from home or order in at the venue from wherever you please. A minimum of 4 and a maximum 10 people are allowed at a time @ INR 500 an hour per group. Chakra is open from 9am to 9pm on all days for anyone who wants to catch up old movies or Netflix/Hotstar shows on a large screen.
