If you’re in need of some music to wade away the post-Pujo blues, good news! Alliance Francaise Du Bengale is organizing a classical guitar recital this Saturday, by Carnegie Hall performer and guitarist par excellence Paul Cesarczyk.

What Is It?

This classical guitar recital by Paul Cesarczyk is the last leg of the Indian Guitar Federation {IGF} Guitar Week where guitar enthusiasts young and old participated in a 5-day intense workshop focusing on guitar education. On Friday {October 6}, the proud students are to go up on stage for their own recital at Calcutta School of Music.

Saturday {October 7} is the day when the master himself shall take the stage at Allaince Francaise Du Bengale and conjure up some tunes to keep all of us mesmerised. Entry fee for this recital is just INR 50!

Why Should I Go?

Some facts about Paul Cesarczyk: not only did he perform at Carnegie Hall at the age of seventeen, he was also awarded by the New York State Senate, Kosciuszko Foundation Prize, Artists International Award and many more. He is a part of numerous ensembles like The Claremont Ensemble, the New York City Opera Orchestra, the Manhattan Virtuosi, and the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. Sounds like a musician we would definitely want to watch live, what about you?

Anything Else?

There are just 60 seats available for this concert {and it’s on a first-come, first-served basis}, so we suggest you go in early before all of them are filled up!

When: Saturday, October 7 at 7.30pm.
