Park Street's iconic Flurys is hosting an exclusive homemade pasta fest which you just cannot mis.. It started from February 1 and will be on till February 16. Vikas Kumar, executive chef at the restaurant says it celebrates the true essence of the simplicity of the staple pasta, made with minimal ingredients but with robust, authentic Italian flavour. On the menu will be Gnudi Spinaci E Ricotta (delicate ricotta and parmesan dumplings served with basil and garlic butter, cherry tomato and fried lotus stem), Agnolotti Di Flore Di Zucca E Ricotta (square pasta made with zucchini flower, mascarpone and sage, served with saffron beurre blanc), Ligurian Corzetti Alla Gamberetto (coin shaped pasta, served with pesto cream and grilled prawns), Uovo Ds Ricotta Ravioli (stuffed with ricotta and a whole egg yolk, served with tomato and golden garlic confit finished with shaved pecorino) and Strapponi Alla Carbonara (rustic ‘torn’ pasta served the classic carbonara way with bacon, egg yolk and cream liaison, grana padano), and Tortellini Di Salmone Di Mascarpone Alla'aneto (homemade tortellini stuffed with Norwegian pink salmon, served with dill and mascarpone cream sauce).
To sweeten the deal, you have Canoli Siciliana (tube shaped fried pastry shells filled with flavored ricotta and chocolate) and Tiramisu, the classic Italian coffee and mascarpone dessert with our home-made finger biscuits.
