Tell Me More

It’s the Live In Lakes Durga Sarobar Music Festival being held from September 24 to 29 between 6-9 pm at Rabindra Sarobar. The longest music festival in the city, it has a star line-up including Usha Uthup, Murshidabadi Project, Dipannita Acharya, Debashish and Rohini Raychaudhuri among others and is free and open to all the public to attend.

Watch out for the Murshidabadi Project – a 4-piece acoustic band from Mumbai that will play on Friday {from 6PM to 8.45 PM}. They have no particular genre and play a host of stuff from country folk to Sufi kalaams. They produce music for theatre and compose originals. They have some beautiful videos of impromptu jams, songs and songs in the making on their Facebook page. Listen to one of their fab songs here.

Anything Else?
