This is one busy weekend with Friendship Day and Rakhi on your events list. Make merry and celebrate both occasions at these places which have some great treats and offers.


Gift a Rollick’s Bon-Bon to your friends or siblings. These bite-sized nibbles that come with creamy vanilla ice cream inside a crunchy chocolate coating, are available at the India Hobby Centre, Rollick’s outlets on Manoharpukur Road, Bangur and Salt Lake. You can even have them gift-packed. A pack of 16 Bon-Bon comes at INR 80 only.

Bombay Brasserie

With the re-launch of the restaurant, Bombay Brasserie has come up with some inventive dishes and cocktails. Keeping Friendship Day in mind, there’s a Pauwa-Packed Weekend awaiting you and your buddies. Call for a desi pauwa – Shimla Rum Do, Go Goa Gone, Jaipur Gulabo, Kollywood Pop, Pondy Rush and more. The complimentary small plates section includes innovative dishes like Aam Papad Paneer, Gunpowder Potatoes, Spicy Pahari Mushrooms, the Naga Ghost Pepper Wings, Marathi Jhinga Mirchi and others.
Pauwas are available at INR 450+.

Bodega Cantina-Y-Bar

It’s pouring pitchers at Bodega as friends can’t let pals go thirsty on Friendship Day. Three-litre pitchers options are in store – draught beer, Daiquiri, Madarin and Mint Mojito and Long Island Ice tea with seven spirits. Pair these with their lip-smacking small plates and enjoy the revelry.

Each pitcher is priced at INR 999, all inclusive.

Bon Appetit

There’s nothing better than celebrating Friendship Day with a sinful, chocolatey dessert – Chocolate Avalanche. The cafe has been a hit among the youth and this Sunday you can get a complimentary Chocolate Avalanche on a minimum billing of INR 350. This star dessert is made with six different hot and cold components that blends perfectly like your friendship does! Bon appetit!

The Rouge

Shift gear from the traditional mithais and try some amazing eclairs and tarts that The Rouge has to offer this Rakhi. Their eclairs section has many flavours like classic, lemon meringue, hazelnut, raspberry, chocolate praline, cream cheese with red velvet crumbs, and s’mores. The tart options include Nutella cheesecake, salted caramel with dark chocolate, chocolate with rose and pistachio, creme brulee, and chocolate topped with mini macaron shell.
Eclairs come in an assorted packs of 10 for INR 650. Tarts are INR 60 each, or you can get trays with 12 and 20 pieces, at INR 800 and INR 1,250 each.


There’s a whole new Rakhi menu to try out at Flurys and it will be available till August 10th. So even if your sibling is travelling and not in the city, you can have a post-Rakhi celebration with these delicious goodies from Flurys. Think Saffron Rosewater Souffle, Mishti Doi Chilled Cheesecake and Fresh Cream Mihidana Gataeux. Among savouries, there is Paneer Tikka Masala Puff and Greenpea and Mushroom Lababdar Pie. There’s a special Rakhi Thali too that comes with a rakhi. Prices range from INR 60 to INR 750.
