Mid-Week Blues?
Mid-week blues? Don’t want to head home straight from work? Need a little pick me up? Hoppipola is where you need to be on Thursdays from 8 pm onwards — that’s when they have karaoke nights! Old classics or the newest hits, they do it all.
DJ The FlayBoy will be on music. He’s super encouraging and connected with the crowd and picks up the mic himself to add to the fun. If the crowd is a little slow, even the Hoppi staff will grab the mic and sing along to put the fizz back in things!
Too scared to go and sing in front of everyone? Don’t worry — you can just sing along from wherever you’re sitting. Most of the crowd sings along as well so no one will be able to hear your cracked voice {plus, the crowd is mostly supportive!}.
They usually wrap up around 10:30 pm so even if you’re looking for an early night, you’re covered.
Anything Else?
For now, karaoke nights are only on at Acropolis but Mani Square is *fingers crossed* going to join the exclusive group of clubs with karaoke nights soon. Oh, and Hoppipola has a INR 99 menu all day on Mondays and Tuesdays in case you’re looking to get drunk on a budget!
