What Is It?
Started by friends Shruti Singh and Ankush Battoo the idea of The Love Room was to introduce the concept of sharing a café experience with pets to Kolkata. You and your animal get two separate menus. You can order from salads, pasta, pizza, and mains like Chicken A La Kiev. The Furbabies menu includes Veg Beetroot Soup, Chicken Steak, and Carrot Pupcake with Philadelphia Cream Cheese Frosting. They serve dog beer (non-alcoholic) too! So the next time you are wondering where to go for a meal, there’s no reason to leave your pet behind.
What Did I Love?
Meet the resident dogs – Shadow {Shih Tzu}, Gucci {Lhasa Apso}, Ego {Siberian Husky}, Barney {Golden Retriever}, Gogo {Pug}, Bruce {Lhasa Apso}, Whiskey {Cocker Spaniel}, Tipsy Daruwala {Irish Setter} and Oreo {French Bull Dog}. They are awwww-dorable. The pets are kept in a separate section. So if you are scared of canines and like to admire them from a distance, you can still drop in without worrying and enjoy the food. But then the whole point to come here would be to be in the company of these canine chums and leave with a spring in your step and a smile on your face.
