We're Stuffing Our Faces At This Punjabi Food Festival In The Gardens Of Kenilworth

    Raisa posted on 12 January

Pop-Up Punjab at Gardenia {the lawns at the Kenilworth} is a two month-long food festival that’s serving up classic Punjabi dishes with a twist.

    A Punjabi Affair

The gardens at the Kenilworth are playing host to a two-month-long Punjabi food festival and we are all heading there to stuff our faces with winter delicacies. Pop-Up Punjab at Gardenia will let you sit in the lawns and enjoy the winter sun. You’ll be kept toasty by the  smoking hot kebabs and warming desserts.
The mercury has not been this low in Kolkata for a while {we’re literally freezing!} so hot, hearty meals sound ideal. Tuck in to the Kukkad Da Hariyali Tikka and the Ambarsari Charcoal Barramundi. Veggie lovers, there’s plenty of treats for you too. Try the Bharwan Khumb Peshawari or the fun Truffle Oil Malai Broccoli.
The mains have all your classic favourites including Amritsari kulcha and sarson de saag. If you have a sweet tooth, you’re in for a treat. These desserts will soothe your soul {and heat you right up!} Freshly made garma-garam jalebi served with rabri, desi gajjaran da halwa and pind di pinni!

    Anything Else?

The festival has already started and will go on till the end of February. It’s on right through the day {so you can enjoy the gardens in the winter sun or in the evening} from 11am t11pm. Make sure you make a reservation on 033 6621 4100 before you go.
