What's Happening

Losing your kids to television and smartphones? Sign up for this puppet making workshop to learn something fun along with your tot and also bring back the dying old tradition of puppet theatre. Remember how mesmerised we were watching the puppetry of The Lonely Goatherd in The Sound of Music? That was our only window, but if you have had the good luck to catch puppet theatre live then you will know much fun our kids are missing out on.

But thanks to Culture Monks, you can now sign up for this puppet making workshop by puppeteer Swanpa Sen to introduce you bubs to this incredible craft and also revive this dying tradition of storytelling. An acclaimed puppeteer and Fulbright Scholar, Swapna will show your munchkins how to make masks and puppets and how to use them in their play time.

You can join your little ones in this workshop to work with them and also pick up the tricks of using these puppets to tell stories back at home. It's a two hour programme, and is open to all kids between 6 to 10 years of age.

How's The Venue

The workshop will be held in the parent and kids wellness centre Happy Chaos in Loudon Street.

Make A Note

The workshop will be held on two days at Happy Chaos. You can sign up for either of them.
