Quirky merchandise, great gifting options, cute accessories and all at super affordable rates. Yes we are talking about Korean and Japanese stores, flocking almost every locality in Kolkata. Here's our guide on what to shop at these places. Basically, expect to come back home with everything you didn't know existed, or need but HAVE TO BUY!

Miniso

This Japanese store, with its branches in Avani Mall and Acropolis Mall, is no less than a dream store for all stationery and quirk lovers. They have a huge variety of stationery, organisers, toiletries, kitchenware, hardware, backpacks, handbags, travel essentials, makeup products and more. Once you enter this store, it's almost impossible to leave without getting your hands on these cute looking products.

Mumuso

Perched on Park Street, the merch here is both eye and wallet pleasing. From scores of bags (totes, pouches and slings), stationery, cushions, footwear, kitchenware to even electronics, the items here are super useful and you're bound to end up buying (as these are rather cheap!). Check out their umbrellas too!

Ximi Vogue

Another Korean mart located on Rashbehari Avenue, Ximi Vogue stands out with its variety of items from face tissues to even wireless keyboards and computer mouse. They have an ample collection of bags, totes, purses and fashion accessories and their own range of makeup and skincare products.

Usupso

Pretty pastels, cute designs, natty cute things, quirky items -- there's a surprise at every corner of this shop in Forum Mall. Stocking pretty much similar products like all other Korean marts, we really loved their collection of accessories like kitschy USB cables, pen drives, colourful ear phones, pop sockets, phone cases, stickers and sleeves. They also stock trendy sunglasses, hair accessories and pretty umbrellas.

Owndays

This Japanese eye wear brand boasts smart, edgy and trendy collection of eye wear and frames. The frames are so freaking light that you might be deceived into believing that you're not looking through glasses at all. They also stock frames with blue light resistance and anti-glare protection. Prices start from INR 3,000.
