Kolkata cops are getting a fleet of Harley-Davidsons. The guys in white gear and black boots {don’t they ever feel hot in this humid weather?} used to rely on the trusted Royal Enfield so far. The bikes will be customised for their use – with saddlebags, flashers, sirens, and a pillion seat cow and new graphics and stickers. They will also have built-in radios. And they will be moving around faster, so keep your eyes peeled.

Kolkata cops are the second police force to get Harleys – Gujarat had got them in 2015. The bumming point is these will only be used to escort ‘VIPs’ on special occasions.
