What Makes It Awesome

Looking for some kickass furniture for your home? Check out Terra Indica in Park Circus for their aesthetic and antique collection of high-end wooden furniture that is sure to appeal to your senses.

Located in a narrow lane on Gorachand Road, Terra Indica is spread across three floors and boasts of beautiful furniture designs ranging from interior furniture, brass decors, wooden sculptures, crafts, handmade products and much more. Owned by Christophe Plais, the interiors of the boutique hub evoke an old-world charm as soon as you step inside.

They have some beautiful, antique pieces of wooden furniture that blend Indian and French styles. Most of the pieces are made of teak wood and mahogany. They have a collection made of sheesham wood as well, very few though. They also have some rare items from vintage restored pieces with elegant carvings, solid wooden and special French finishing.

We loved the vintage four-poster wooden bed sourced from one of the British officers. The design dates back to the colonial era. The bed has been restored and refurbished using a lime wash finish and is a stand out piece of art in the entire showroom. The headboard of the four-poster bed with a beautifully carved lion and unicorn royal crest is what caught our attention. Go to the third floor and have a look at this marvel priced at INR 98,800.

The huge antique finished bookshelves on the right of the entrance will definitely catch your attention for its uniqueness. They are restored and refurbished pieces of old wooden window frames and door panels priced at INR 60,000.

The heavy wooden beds, light & dark toned recliners, beautiful and elaborate mirrors, study tables, table lamps, dressing tables and units, collection of antique brass sculptures, statues of Lord Buddha and Apsaras add a certain charm to the store. Watch out for the wooden glasses, ashtrays and bowls beautifully crafted by trainee craftsmen at Terra Indica. They also have several decorative items and wooden toys that you can use to decorate your home or workplace.

You will also find some decorative wall hanging pieces designed by Shubha Kenworthy. Watch out for low-maintenance aquariums and stunning indoor plantations by Swastika Mukherjee's The Leaf Story put on display across the showroom.

The store is beautiful and a must-visit. The starting price for small, decorative items is INR 2,000 while furniture items start from INR 7,000 onwards and can go up to a lakh or above depending on the product and design.

What Could Be Better

We, honestly, can't think of anything to make the store look better. It's perfect already!
