Catch This New York Based Guitarist-Composer Live In Action At Skinny Mo's Jazz Club

Calling all jazz lovers! You are going to love this one.

Xander Naylor - a New York-based guitarist, improviser and composer - will be performing live at Skinny Mo's Jazz Club on Friday, February 7, and you just can't miss it. His music is a blend of avant-jazz, post-rock, and Indian classical. He studied the music of India under tabla maestro Samir Chatterjee and adapted those sounds and techniques onto the guitar and with rock, pop and jazz music. Naylor has performed at the South by Southwest Festival (Austin, Texas, USA), Assomniak Festival (Brest, France) and the Chhandayan Annual Concert in Kolkata.

Giving him support on bass and drums are Vinay Kaushal and Shreyas Iyengar respectively.

Skinny Mo's is the city's first dedicated jazz club that aims to promote local artistes as well as bring in talents from outside the city and abroad. They also host music workshops in case you're interested.
