The information in this post might be outdated

I came across this amazing brand called Boutique Tathagata. What caught my eyes was that every piece was creative, not just creative but represented a different form of art and very niche and detailed work.

Curiosity leads me to ask, the story behind these beautiful six yards.

I would rather prefer not to call this a business, as this could be very well understood that this is a passion and a dream. This business was started by Quassia's mother Nibedita Hore in the around the year 2000 but then after many years the mother-daughter duo finally convinced each other to restart it all over again.

Speaking about the concept of these beauties, that, of course, has been influenced by her life experiences hence each piece stands out. The brand always tries out new mediums with old techniques. The blend of old and new as you can say their sarees are their canvas.

Not only saree's but handcrafted jewellery,  paintings and other gifted items are also available regards to different art form and concepts.

They are specialized in embroidery, Japanese silk painting and batiks. Her interest for batiks has a strong influence of Sri Lanka, Indonesia and other south-east Asian countries. They are also trying to focus on eco-dyeing and They have a diverse price range which makes it even simpler and attractive in every way.
