Virtual Tour Of Belgadia Palace & Tips On Covid Travel

What's Happening?

This one might just get you guys super excited.

LBB, in collaboration with the House of Mayurbhanj, is bringing to you a virtual tour of the famous Belgadia Palace on Saturday, December 5, 6:30pm onwards.

Yep. You heard that right! A virtual tour of the 200-year-old palace that has now been turned into a heritage homestay by two sisters Mrinalika and Akshita, who aim to build sustainable communities in the district.

Let Akshita show you around the magnificent palace - open verandahs, porches, refurbished furniture and upholstery, vintage vinyl records, century-old artworks, royal dining room, library and more. Surrounded by greenery, hills and waterfalls, the Belgadia Palace belongs to the royal family of the Bhanj Deo dynasty. The Victorian brick-built double-storey structure sits on a raised hill with sprawling lawns on either side. Akshita, the director, will give you a glimpse of it all and also talk about travel in Covid times.
