Get a feel of the Sundarbans at this tiger-themed café in Tollygunge. Owner Pranab Chatterjee’s bid to preserve homegrown talent and the endangered national animal of India resulted in this cafe. You can browse through a vast collection of books on the big cat here. On the walls are paintings by renowned artists Pradeep Maitra and Sanatan Dinda.

Be greeted by the life-size tiger at the entrance and the vibrant colours used on the walls and in the décor reflect the theme. The café serves up traditional Bengali snacks like Fish Fry and Egg Devil which go perfectly with a cup of tea.
