Calling All Young Adults: Pick Up Japanese Art At This Workshop

What Is It?

The Fatty Bao in association with The Art Room is hosting an art workshop inspired by Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama’s ‘Polka Dots’. Kusama is well-known for her psychedelic, repeating dot patterns. You can recreate Kusama’s works while bingeing on our favourite Fatty snacks!

Who Is It For?

This one is for 12 to 20 year olds. For those who want to explore their inner artist, love fun art and want to know more about Kusama’s hallucinations which is often referred to as ‘infinity sets’. Read more about her here.

To pick up a super trippy art style and impress your friends and fam with some arty gifts. You are sure to have a fun time at this unique paint workshop. And you also get to sip specially curated Japanese tea and munch on fab Japanese snacks.

You will also get to learn about the various themes Kusama’s art revolves around which are ‘Feminism’, ‘Surrealism’, ‘Minimalism’ and ‘Abstract Expressionism’.
