Ten-Second Takeaway

Yeah, we’ve heard it a million times – Delhi has better food, better markets and it’s greener. But, Mumbai has some spots that Delhi has got nothing on. Don’t believe us? Check out these larger-than-life spots.

Watch Performances By The Sea

The amphitheatre and the fort make for a fantastic venue to catch performances, workout or just sit by the sea. The view from here is one of the best, with the spot flanked by sea link on one side and the infinite ocean on the other. You can also catch a glimpse of the beautiful Bandra-Worli Sealink from the backside of the amphitheatre.

P.S: The Bandra Fort and theatre is shut post 6PM, so make you enjoy the beauty of it before that.

Go For A Walk On The Longest Sea Stretch

The stretch that starts from Nariman Point and ends at Malabar Hill is famous for it resemblance to a necklace. Why? Because Mumbai is even livelier at night. Marine Drive opens to the endless sea and one can sit for hours here to listen to the waves. Just get yourself a cup of chai/coffee (or Bournvita) and let the sea do it's magic on you.

Dine While The World Passes By

Mumbai boasts of a number of restaurants and bars with a view. Our picks? Estella, an Australian fine dine in Juhu that offers potent drinks and delicious fare and the private dining terrace at Taj Land’s End- where you can literally see the world pass by.

Shell Out: Between INR 1,500 and 3,000 (depending on where you dine)

A National Park In The City

Which other metros boast of a National Park inside it? Mumbai has one, bang in the middle of the city. Want to go on a trek? No need to spend money to travel- it’s all here at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. You can cycle up to Kanheri caves and make a day out of it!

Park Timings: 7 AM to 6:30 PM

Park Entry Fee: INR 48  for adults; INR 25 for children

Jog Or Do Yoga By The Sea

Again, the sea calls out with a lot of motivation at Bandra’s Joggers’ Park. You will often witness celebrities sweating it out on the running track, or people meditating while soaking in the sea view.
