Mumbai, 8th March, 2018: To commemorate International Women’s Day, Hakkasan is all set to host a culinary workshop - Walk the Wok with Chef Raymond Wong for its women patrons starting 11 am onwards. Chef Raymond will shed light on flavour profiles, ingredients & Chao (Wok) technique for bringing to live Cantonese Wok delicacies, such as Tofu claypot, Prawn in Szechuan sauce, Black truffle and asparagus ​​​​fried rice and Seafood mee goreng noodle. Experience this one of a kind workshop, which delivers a holistic Hakkasan experience & culinary secrets. To commence the workshop, guests will be welcomed by the award winning, Chef Raymond. He will then take the patrons through the showcase of Cantonese ingredients, juxtaposed with locally sourced ingredients that make for the perfect substitutes, when making Cantonese miracles in domestic kitchens. Subsequently, Chef Raymond will escort the party to the Hakkasan kitchen, where he will demonstrate Chao (Wok) a technique that is similar to a stir frying technique, and involves heating the wok to a high temperature, adding a small amount of oil, followed by spices, meats, vegetables, and liquid in succession. To end the experiential workshop, patrons will be served tasting portions of Tofu claypot, Prawn in Szechuan sauce, Black truffle and asparagus ​​​​fried rice and Seafood mee goreng noodle, along with a glass of celebratory sparkling wine & certificates signed personally by Chef Raymond.
