Looking for a nice place to experience some good Spanish Tapas food? Then El Toro Cantina Tapas and Bar in Bandra Reclamation is the place to be for. The restaurant is based on the Spanish concept of serving small portions of food, allowing diners to experience and taste a lot of dishes. The food menu created by Chef Onkar Samarth with some mouth-watering dishes like the Albondigas en Salsa Espinola - one of the best meatballs I have ever eaten, chicken liver plate - a first for me, but really well done, potato and green onion cake and much more. We also enjoyed the wild mushroom risotto with lotus stem crisp - surely going to come back for this. The Berenjenas a la Parrilla which is a sliced and grilled aubergine with garlic cream and spiced smoked salsa was stunning.
Our favourite was the desserts which literally got over in seconds! The sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel and white chocolate ice-cream. Totally recommending this! Overall, El Toro is a good place to be with its minimalistic interiors, good service and mouthwatering food.
