The Quirk Box {whose show was on Wed, Aug 24}, is an relatively affordable brand that is doing interesting, off-beat things. Their collection and show is named ‘Madness’ with stripes, colourful prints, stick-on badges. They had a very interesting visual element to the show where they projected art on to the garments.

Another designer whose stuff you can pick up is Nimish Shah’s Shift {the show took place on Aug 24} for pret wear. They have included heavy dresses and oversized travel coats in their collection.

I also really like Naushad Ali, who is a designer from Pondicherry. He makes Indo-western wear, with organic cloth, either cotton or silk. He has a stall at the LFW.
