Udvada is technically just out of Maharashtra, as it’s located on the Gujarat border, but it’s as accessible as can be. If you haven’t heard of Udvada before, it is a small Parsi town full of old-time architecture, one of the few fire temples across the globe, and of course, Parsi food. One of the most popular breakfast joints in Udvada is Ahura’s for their Parsi dishes, such as Salli per edu, Parsi kheema, Parsi poro and other egg dishes {you also get good South Indian food there}.

If you’re wondering how to get there, you can simply take a car and ride down {it’s as less as 3.5 hours} or even take a train.

P.S. Since you’re in Udvada anyway, check our guide on how to spend a day there, and maybe even grab lunch at Parsi Da Dhaba.
