Ever wondered who (beyond the fitness freaks) keep the areas in and around Shivaji Park crowded? The answer to that is party-hoppers. With so many pubs within the vicinity, Shivaji Park (safe to say) is an underrated party destination that needs our eyeballs and doing a pub crawl here is super easy because everything is located a walk away. Ready for a read?

Open House Café And Bar

Always buzzing with music, open House is an instant hit with all the youngsters living in and around Shivaji Park. The pub, which is located on Cadel Road, offers great deals on each day of the week along with daily happy hours.

What To Eat & Drink: Try their Cuba Libre, or the good old Long Island Iced Tea. Their Goan chorizo pav, honey paprika button tossed mushroom and pork honey chilli spare ribs are some of the showstoppers.

Shell Out: INR 450 onward

P.S: They have a good bar menu with imported and domestic liquor, along with a fairly decent range of cocktails.

The Beer Café

Over a short period of time, The Beer Café has opened many outlets around the city. With vibrant interiors and an expansive beer menu, it’s the perfect place for beer-lovers.

What To Eat & Drink: From Belgian hits such as Bira and Stella Artois to England’s Shepherd Neame Spitrfire, Germany’s Erdinger and America’s all-time favourite Budweiser, this place has it all, along with a varied range of imported alcohol and cocktails (the beer based ones are delicious) We like their beer-battered onion rings which make for good accompaniments with our drinks, much like their Calcutta chilli chicken.

Shell Out: INR 500 onward

Green Restaurant & Bar

Having been around for years, Green is a watering hole all locals from the area have visited at some point (there was a time it was the only ‘cool’ bar around). Located at a 30-second walk from the sea (just next to Terttulia), Green is decently sized and is, in fact, good for large groups looking for space. They serve fairly good food too.

What To Eat & Drink: Their chicken in oyster sauce is yum and so are the wasabi prawns. As for the drinks, they serve domestic and imported liquor, both of which are priced well and do not dig a hole in your pocket.

Shell Out: INR 400 onward

Terttulia

This famous Pune pub is also in Mumbai, and is known for its great music, fabulous food and a good bar menu, all of which are important factors for those who wish to venture out in the evenings to have a good time.

What To Eat & Drink: Gorge on some delicious risotto or some fish and chips while you down some pins of beer of delicious cocktails.

Shell Out: INR 450 onward

Tanatan

Everything here contributes to a luxury dining experience. Plus you'll have live music performances almost everyday at the bar.

What To Eat & Drink: Our favourites are beetroot mozzarella seekh kebabs and their quinoa seekh kebab. You could pair it with some Sharabi Kahwa, Daaru Desi or Santra Mantra (innovative max, right?)

Shell Out: INR 500 onward
