Walking around in Fort certainly has its perks – you find old eateries and hidden gems that boast of the best that money can buy. We stumbled upon one such store called Art Land, that specialises in silver jewellery, Indian handicrafts and Victorian jewellery, amongst other things.
Opened in 1982, this little store is not easily visible and will take some skills to pinpoint to its exact location, but once you enter, you’re in for a treat.
If you’re into silver jewellery, there are plenty of options available. From bangles and bracelets made of mother of pearl and diamond flakes to even stone jewellery, rings of all shapes and sizes, a huge variety of earrings from studs to full sets for any function you can think of, heavy necklaces made of stones, beads and silver and even just pure silver adorn the shop. You’ll also find brooches, a large collection of pendants, anklets and semi-precious stones that make up jewellery for everyday use or for special occasions.
Apart from this, you’ll find Indian handicrafts like statues and gift items made from sandalwood, brass, vases made of marble and many such items. You can also find a fine collection of stoles and shawls that make the perfect gift.
